Extraction module: user manual
The Data Extraction module allows you to generate custom reports ( pull mode ). To obtain your indicators, simply configure your query via a dedicated form.
1. Configure your request
Fill in the following variables to define your perimeter:
- Period: Select the period type (4 weeks, CAD, CAM, month or week) and the analysis period.
Note: Historical data is available for 2 years starting from January 2024. - Product: Choose a hierarchy (standard or customized if available in your contract).
Then refine your search by category, brand, or product. - Store: Filter by format, region, or store type.
More details on store format nomenclature in 👉 this article . - Transaction type : " Physical stores ", " E-commerce " or " All (Total)". This option is only available for the Intermarché - France scope.
- Extract type: Define the granularity (EAN, brand, family, etc.) or one of the defined levels of your custom hierarchy and add a geographical dimension if needed.
- KPI Groups Select your KPI groups (see below).
- Format & Name: Choose between CSV or Excel and name your report.
Options depending on your contract
- Competition: Include competition data (available within a legal timeframe of 12 or 15 days depending on the scope of your contract).

2. Group of KPIs
Depending on your contract, you will also be able to choose from 4 main groups of key performance indicators (KPIs) to analyze:
- Basic (included by default): turnover (in euros), average price, quantity (in units sold), AWS (turnover), AWS (quantity), Volume kg/l.
- Assortment: Numeric distribution.
- Promotion: promo quantity (in units sold), promo share (quantity), promo share (turnover), promo turnover (in euro)
- Competition: market share (turnover), market share (quantity).

3. Technical limitations and formats
To guarantee the performance of your files:
- Excel (.xlsx): Limited to 1,048,576 rows .
- CSV: Recommended for larger volumes (several million lines).
If an error message appears, reduce your scope (fewer products/stores) or switch to CSV format.
4. Retrieve and manage your extractions
Once the request has been launched via the "Run" button , go to the Desktop tab to:
- Track status: Queued, In progress, or Completed.
- Download: Click on the "…" icon and then on Download .
- Manage: You can duplicate a query to save time or delete your old reports.
5. Namely
- Structure: The file contains a single sheet with the indicators in Value and in Evolution .
- Traceability: Your extraction parameters are recalled in the first line (CSV) or in a dedicated tab (Excel).
- Empty file? This means that no sales have been made within the selected area.
