Interpreting the "Visualization"-view in the dashboard : Comparing my performance with the competition.

Once your filters are set and the analysis launched, the results are displayed in two sections:

  • The Visualization: which presents your results in the form of graphs.
  • The Performance Breakdown table: which presents your numerical results in more detail by KPI.

Visualization View

This section displays the main KPIs for the category you want to analyze, such as: turnover, quantity, volume kg/l.

You can choose to display them by “sub-level”, by “brand” or by “EAN”.

Analysis of a concrete case

I want to analyze the performance of my "Adult Cereals" category. After filling in the various parameters (Period, store format, etc.) and running my analysis, the results are displayed in the form of graphs.

In my "Adult Cereals" category, there are four subcategories: "Crunchy Muesli", "Wellness and Health", "Balance", and "Cornflakes". The graph shows a negative trend compared to the previous year for all of my subcategories.

To display more results, I move my cursor over the different sections of the graph.

Tip : You can also display results using other indicators, such as units sold or volume in kg or liters, by using the drop-down menu at the top right of the chart.

View results by brand or EAN

If you want to see your turnover (or other KPIs) by brand or EAN, select the display level at the top right of the screen.

On the left, the pie chart shows your market share for the analyzed category. In our example, we see that the sales of "my products" in "my category" represent 3.12% of the total market for the "adult cereals" category .

On the right, the graph shows the distribution of revenue by brand and its evolution compared to the previous period.

You can also choose to display only your own brands, only competitor brands, or select only certain brands.

For a more detailed view, you can activate the display by EAN to analyze the performance of the category product by product.
